Yesterday morning, I was buying breakfast in a shop. I noticed that at the other door of the shop there were so many beggars waiting outside.
Out of curiosity, I asked the cashier why they were waiting outside and she said that every Friday the shop offered bread to those underprivileged people in town.
I said, “May I contribute something also.” The Indian shop owner agreed and we partnered. I bought drinks from their shop and gave each beggar a bottle of drink.
The staff was grateful, and one lady tried to point at me to show the people that I was the one who offered drinks, but I told her it was not necessary.
My brother Malvin Gaki the soccer player was there to assist. He distributed the drinks to people. What an amazing work that can be done when people with the same spirit come together?
You never know the impact of small positive things that you do for others.
It seems there are so many people in need in this world and you say to yourself, this is too much, who am I to change the world?
Yes, you can not change the whole world, but you can change the world of one person. This should be the best approach.
